Genealogy Instruction
The
Society is fortunate enough to be one of the few
Scottish heritage organizations with a certified Genealogist on
staff. As authorized by the organization's bylaws, we
provide free instruction on genealogical research techniques to
members of the Society. Below are resources and several articles
written by our genealogist and other officers of the Society,
which should provide significant insight into beginning your
research!
The Society has published a First Edition, authored by two of its directors, titled Introduction to Researching your Scottish Genealogy, Customs and Heritage. It is a terrific educational resource for anyone of Scottish decent interested in performing Scottish Genealogy research.
