The Clan Strachan Society actively participates and sponsors various Scottish Highland Games and other events that fulfill the Society's mandate for education, as well as the advancement of Scottish heritage and culture.

If you've not yet had an opportunity to attend your local Scottish Highland Games, we highly recommend going for a day.

In addition to the athletics, dancing, music, and of course piping, most events offer an incredible assortment of traditional food and drink.

We encourage all members of the Society to consider actively participating in these events.

If you wish to have your own "Clan Strachan" table and tent at the event...  The Society will advise and assist in coordinating your first event, and if approved by our Board of Directors we will pay all or a portion of the Clan Tent fees.  Please, contact us if interested.

Please, join us at the following events:

Ventura Seaside Highland Games (October)

Kelly Strachan:
Kelly jumped into the sport with both feet, rapidly picking up both equipment and proper dress and trains consistently for all the events, as can be seen from his almost constant improvement. Having the same warped sense of humour as his cousin Blaine, he is also a major source of entertainment among his competitors. He has established himself as one of the forces to be reckoned with in the amateur B ranks and is steadily pushing closer to the A numbers.
