A person's heritage, in addition to being indispensible from a historical perspective, is equally as important as environment in determining who we are, and who we will become as adults.
It is for this reason that we in the Society strongly believe all individuals should be aware of their heritage; and more importantly, the paramount need to teach our children the customs, traditions, and culture of our ancestors. This gift to our younger generations will provide a greater sense of self; and will invariably instill certain values that directly impact character, honour, pride, and one's sense of community.
