Clan Strachan Silent Auction

Donated by Drew Strachan (Elgin, Scotland), this auction is for an un-opened and very rare Mannochmore, 14 year old, single malt, single cask (Refill Sherry Hogshead),  cask strength, Scotch Whisky, 50% ABV, bottled in 2003. There were only 312 bottles produced by the distillery 17 years ago that were exclusively bottled for Gordon & MacPhail. Mannochmore, at the time of this bottling, was producing whisky for 12 months, and closed for 12 months. This is a very nice, very special, 700 ml bottle of Speyside Whisky. This will make for a very special gift, private tasting, or collector's piece. Net proceeds from this auction will be used exclusively for the Society's Real Property Fund. Those bidding must satisfy the minimum legal drinking age for their jurisdiction.

This auction does not include the cost of shipping (or export), which can vary greatly depending on the winning bidder's residence. Also, this bottle requires a special shipping license, and therefore we believe this bottle can only ship within the United Kingdom. We will use best efforts to find a shipper or an exporter as appropriate. Again, cost of shipping/export, duties, tariffs, taxes, and all costs associated with shipping is winning bidder's responsibility. Shipment terms are F.O.B. Origin, and must be paid in advance. Alternatively, we recommend the bottle will be held by the Commander of Clan Strachan, preferrably in an honoured location at the Feughside, and the bottle will be given to you on your next visit to Strachan.
