Free Shipping Disclaimer
We want to check that you fully understand the offer, to avoid any possibility of disappointment.
Due to its unpredictability as well as slower delivery times, we do NOT recommend this for any delivery with an important deadline, such as Christmas, birthdays, or weddings; nor for shipments with significant value as these shipments are NOT insured.
The Tartan Mill in Scotland offers a "Free Shipping" service that uses non-priority mail services. This means that (from when your order is ready for dispatch) delivery within the UK should normally take three days, but can take up to seven days or more; Western Europe can be up to two weeks, or more; Eastern Europe up to four weeks, or more; and up to eight weeks or more for the rest of the world. In most cases we would expect packages to arrive well within these maximums, but this cannot be guaranteed and a few do take longer. Do NOT rely on this shipping method, especially at busy times of year like Christmas, as non-priority mail can be extremely slow!
The Mill in Scotland DOES retain proof of
dispatch for all deliveries. HOWEVER, Free Shipping methods are
uninsured, and offer no tracking facilities. We do not recommend
this method for packages of significant value. And, we
cannot consider refunds or replacements for any package that
fails to arrive, at least until after the longest possible
delivery period (which can be several months). All
said refunds or replacements would be exclusively determined by
the Mill in Scotland, and again, are not guaranteed.

If you wish to upgrade your shipping, please just ask (before your package is ready for dispatch, of course). We do prefer this as faster methods generally mean happier customers! And of course just ask if we can help further in any other way.
ALL SHIPMENTS OUTSIDE SCOTLAND MAY (or may not) BE SUBJECT TO INTERNATIONAL DUTIES, TARIFFS, TAXES, OR OTHER COSTS, WHICH ARE BEYOND OUR CONTROL, AND WHICH YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR. Please, contact your country's customs agency for further information.
